KiAgent: AI now develops alongside you

In recent weeks, my KiAgent project has taken a big step forward. Development tasks can now be handed to an AI agent directly via Signal or through GitLab Work Items.
Depending on the task, you choose Claude Code or OpenCode. The agent then handles the work autonomously: it analyses requirements, implements new features, fixes bugs, creates merge requests and documents its results.
What is particularly exciting is the flexibility: while Claude Code plays to its strengths on complex development tasks, OpenCode enables the use of local language models — an important aspect for companies and public authorities that do not want to transfer their data to external cloud services.
The project is thus evolving step by step from a classic coding assistant into a true AI development agent that integrates seamlessly into the daily development process.
